Unlock the following characters and title screen songs by completing Time Attack mode under the corresponding time limits:

CHARACTER/SONG - TIME LIMIT
Curly Brace and the "Running Hell" song - Under 6 minutes
Toroko and the "Toroko's Theme" song - Under 5 minutes
King and the "White" song - Under 4 minutes
Sue and the "Safety" song - Under 3 minutes

Unlock the following costumes by performing the corresponding tasks:

COSTUME - HOW TO UNLOCK
Santa costume - Set the system date to December 24 or 25.
Halloween costume - Set the system date to October 30 or 31.

Complete the game with the best ending to unlock Time Attack mode. Time Attack mode is another Hell run but with a choice of weapons and Life Pot. You will be able to select to have 3, 29, or 55 HP. Note: If you take the Polar Star, you cannot take the Spur, Machine Gun. If take the Fireball, you cannot take the Snake. If you take the Snake, you cannot take the Spur, Machine Gun, Polar Star or Fireball.
