Avoid dyingSave the game just before going on a rescue. If you die, immediately turn off the power to your DS. Once you turn it back on, you will not have died. |
Boss strategiesF-irst, make sure you have the TM Attract. During the boss fight, on your first move, press A and attack nothing. Then, when the Boss approaches, use Attract and he will not be able to hurt you. Note: This probably won't work if you are the same gender, and the effect may wear off. If it wears off, use it again. |

Fugitive period hintThere is a part of the game where you must run as a fugitive in order to uncover the truth of the Ninetales legend. This begins when you climb to the top of the great canyon to tell Xatu about how you became a Pokemon. Before this, make sure that your character and your partner are at least level 20. Also, make sure that you have plenty of Oran Berries, Reviver Seeds, and Apples or Big Apples in storage and that your Pokemon knows Attract to defeat Moltres and Articuno easily. |
Recommended PokemonThe best Pokemon you can become after the interview is Meowth since he will learn the move Pay-Day. Pay-Day causes Pokemon that are defeated with this move to drop Poke on the ground, thus making you rich. |
