When trailing (or winning) and you hit a ball into the ground or fly out, pause game play and enter the "Controller Select" screen, Then, choose the other team and make them throw the ball to the wrong base or miss the fly ball.
Getting pitchers from any other team makes their confidence rise much faster, allowing you to strike out more batters and walk less. Note: They must have at least two or three "A"s in their ranking.
