Get to Rank 3 in Classic mode.

At the main menu, highlight the "Classic" option and highlight (do not click) the following options in order moving in a clockwise direction: "Classic", "Zen", "Blitz", and "Challenge". Keep highlighting them in that order until the credits appear.

You don't have to link eight jewels in a row to get the Supernova Jewel. Using six jewels will do the same thing in the following pattern:

Twist Z to connect the three, then the Ys will fall into place and leave the six Xs to connect together.

When the Doom Gem has the number 12, the other bomb gem is same, and your move remaining is 10, twist anywhere until the challenge is complete.
