Locate the "common/ai" folder in the game directory, then copy the guard.qvm, observer.qvm, rpg.qvm, gunner.qvm, patrol.qvm, radioguard.qvm and sniper.qvm files to a backup folder on your desktop. Make another folder on your desktop, then copy the civilian.qvm file there. Rename this file to one of the files listed above, then copy it back to the "ai" folder. Copy and rename the civilian file until every file in the "ai" folder is replaced with the new .qvm file. Start the game and the enemies will behave like civilians. They will not shoot you, and will try running away. However, tanks and cameras will still function the same way as before. If something goes wrong, copy the original files from your desktop backup directory back into the game directory.
Note: this requires moving and renaming critical game files. Standby to uninstall the game and cleanse the directory or you'll be in trouble. Find the ai folder in the ...igi...commonai directory and duplicate it. Open the original ai folder and locate file civilian.qvm. List the file names of the other qvm files and move those files into another directory. If you backed up the original ai folder, you can delete them. Finally, copy the civilian.qvm file to replace each of the other non-civilian qvm files but with the file names previously listed. When you start a game with these modified behaviour files, the enemies in the game will behave like civilians.
Note: Making backups before altering game files is recommended. Find common/ai Folder on Project IGI Program Folder and backup a copy of ai folder. In the original folder, delete all "qvm" files leaving "obsever.qvm" and "settings.qvm". Copy "observer.qvm" and rename them as the original file names that you deleted before.
Example : Copy observer.qvm and paste. Then rename the copy obsever.qvm as "anya.qvm". oo Do it with other files as well.
