You can hear a disembodied voice near the bathroom. It comes from just outside of the bathroom and is best heard while in Spectator mode.
Just outside of the bathroom on Asylum, exactly where the disembodied voice is heard, a crying girl can also be heard. She will switch back and forth from crying to laughing,which is quite disturbing.
All around the stairs that are a distance from where the piano can be heard, you can here the sound of knocking on the wood that is covering up all the windows. If you fly around constantly as a spectator you can hear this wooden knocking sound everywhere. It distinctly sounds like someone deliberately knocking on wood and can also be heard on the boarded up windows on the other side of the map.
Climb up the ladder outside and to the far right of the dome, then go to the corner behind the staircase. This is the best location to use your shotgun because everyone will either go up the steps, ladder, or the metal beam to reach the top.
At the end of each round, leave one last zombie alive. When it has entered the building, throw a grenade at it to blow off its legs so it crawls slowly on the ground, giving you plenty of time to patch up any windows you need and prepare for the nexxt round. The next round won't begin until the crawling zombie is killed, and he is easy to evade. When you are ready, kill him and the round will end.
Whenever you run out of ammo or are running low on any mission in Solo mode, find a non-essential teammate (someone not involved in the story line) and aim the reticule next to his head or torso. Knife the air and move slightly as you do so toward them so that the reticule is over them. If done correctly, your teammate will die and drop his weapon. The difficulty setting doesn't matter. Non-essential teammates are replaced when you walk into a battle. If the teammate does not die but keeps getting back up, it means they are essential to the story (for example, Sgt. Roebuck and Sgt. Rezenov).
On Modern Warfare is a allied Russian soldier named Dmitri Petrenko with the rank of corporal in the "Safehouse" mission. In theWorld At War Campaign mode, the character you play as for as the Russians is Dmitri Petrenko with the rank of private.
Unlock this achievement by first opening the door that has "Comm" on it in Shi No Numa and then the door where the perk machine is located. There is a door on each side of the perk machine; go in the one on the right. As soon as you enter that door, take a left to find a black phone sitting on the table next to a radio. Go to the phone and hold [Reload]. You may need to do this a few times. You will start to hear numbers being dialed, it will start to ring, and the achievement will unlock.
After you get to the sniping spot to kill General Amsel, shoot all your pistol ammunition, then switch to your sniper rifle and switch back to your pistol. You should now have 80 rounds of ammunition instead of only 13.
Go to the map in Spectator mode and look for a drivable tank to the left and in front of two trucks. From there, it should be next to the destroyed building you are looking for. Make sure the truck behind the tank is in front of a destroyed Flak cannon; the building is to the left according to the direction of the tank. After finding the building, notice that the walls are divided into squares or segments. Also note that the correct building is connected to a series of buildings. Line up the tank exactly with the square segment it is next to on the building. Then, look carefully at the shadows and notice how they fade out the walls. If you look carefully enough looking at the whole wall square you can see a chicken with its wings in the air with big bulging eyes. Two segments over you should see a fat pig standing up and smiling.
Go straight to the wall by Target A (search and destroy mode) then find the blood stain, sprint into and out of that corner repeatedly until you fall through then duck down crawl through the gap and your under the level from here you can kill people but they cant get you - be warned you cant throw grenades through to the level. Also from there if you want to get out of the whole level instead of under it just walk backwards towards the wall on your right you will pass through but don't go too far or you die, from here you can see through nearly all walls and kill people without being spotted.
Use the following hint to destroy the other tanks faster and a bit easier. Shoot the tanks in the treads to destroy them in two shots about 90% of the time, rather than an average of four shots. When shooting at the tanks, it helps to move from side to side. Those tanks do not have great aim, depending on the difficulty setting. Try waiting just a moment between shots to slightly increase your accuracy.
In Spectator mode on Cliffside, look down the cliff at the beach. To the left there is a small crater on the beach where a mortar shell has hit. Fly down through the crater and keep going down to eventually go into some invisible water. Come up out of the water a bit and look around to see a large bush nearby in the mist. It is just floating there very far under the map.
Go into the large pit as a spectator to hear the Red Army shouting their battlecry of "URA! URA! URA!". Strangely enough, you cannot hear them at all from within the actual map boundaries (unless you are unfortunate enough to fall in).
Start any Nazi Zombie game and unlock the door to the Mystery Box room. Go to the Mystery Box and go over to the right, then look at a table to find a radio. Shoot a bullet at the radio and wait a few seconds to hear random sorts of music such as rock, disco, opera, and some in-game music such as the Russian victory song, the last level music, or the Japanese combat music. The music will stop in between rounds but will then start again and every player in game can hear it.
This works better in online multi-player mode. After the first five or so waves, open the upstairs but not the door. Then, open the other stairs leading into the gun room. You will only need to worry about that room and the stairs. Have two people watch the stairs. The room has less obstructions to get caught up on and more space to move and evade. If overwhelmed, you can open the door but the next round will probably be your last.
There are two ways to do this trick. Upstairs, over the first starting room, is a room with one window and a doorway with a window view. Use that door way to bottleneck zombies while someone else guards the stairwell and window. You can either unlock the door then the far stairs to keep your back free. Alternately, unlock the first stairs, leaving no protective sides. The only downside is that eventually you will need ammo. This works well online as long as you work together.
Get to level three and leave a Crawler. Open the door with steps (not the ramp) and open the door that leads to the Thompson. Clear the debris and jump down to turn the power on. Then run out and make a right. Keep going straight to pass two windows on your right and a door on your left and right. Do not open the doors. From this area, kill the zombies that come down the path and have someone guard the window in the back. For the dogs, go to mainframe and hide by the fence in the corner by the window. When the dogs are cleared, go back to the path and repeat this. Do not forget to leave a Crawler or a zombie in the window. Also be careful with getting the nukes so you do not kill the last zombie and can get perks or whatever else.
For the first few rounds, allow the zombies to break down the boards and come inside. Use your pistol or knife to kill them to gain more points than by shooting them once in the head. A knife to the head gives 130 points per kill. Once all of the zombies are dead, patch up the boards. You will have much more money this way than if you simply killed them with guns. Note: After level 3, the zombies are too strong to be taken down this way.
On the Nazi side at Upheaval on, go to the left into the building. Inside you will see a board next to the door. Look carefully to see a chicken with a knife through it. You can shoot the chicken off, but to get the knife off you need an explosive.
When you get to the part with the sniper rifle and the Nazis start using bazookas, look at one in zoomed view. If he is not shooting at you, leave him for awhile and go back. He will now be using a STG-44, but is holding it like a bazooka.
An easy way to get this achievement is by leaving all but one zombie before they tear down the window boards. Let the last zombie live, and while he is tearing down the window boards, quickly repair them. Although you will not get points for repairing the boards, you will get the achievement.
While playing in Solo mode, get a crawler or a very slow moving zombie at the end of round three. Open the door to your left of where you spawn and to the right of the Pack A Punch machine if you are facing it, then the next door following it as well as the debris from the stairs. Fall off, activate the power, go back, and open the door across the bridge, then activate the teleporter and come back to it. Crouch in the corner directly below the black triangle above and use the Right Analog-stick to turn. Finally, stay in the back corner of the teleporter and wait for the last zombie to appear. Kill it. Once this is done, stay exactly in the same position you are at and the rounds will just skip by. You won't see people but you will hear them. This is the same for dogs. Nothing can find and attack you. By doing this you can make it to round infinity, but once you leave you are on your own. You will have unlocked the achievement by round 20.
On the "Vendetta" mission, after you shoot General Amsel's guards and move up to the car with the sergeant, a group of Nazis will appear down the street. Instead of following the sergeant, stay near the car and wait for three of the Nazis to get in a line, then shoot.
Note: Two controllers are required. Turn on controller two and use controller one to create a new profile named "JD 2020" (case-sensitive). Start your Call Of Duty: World At War game and go to multiplayer mode. Then, press A on both controllers and select "Continue". Start the game but do not select teams. Instead, press Xbox Logo on controller two and sign out. Then do the same with controller one. Sign back into your Xbox Live profile and go to Xbox Live. Then go to the barracks and then to "Clan Tag". Finally, activate the following animations by entering the corresponding word as your clan tags:
A "Plus" symbol bounces through your Clan Tag
Enter **** as a Clan Tag.
A "o" bounces through the periods in your Clan Tag
Go to Free Spectating mode and look around the map near the Japanese spawn side for a radio tower with Japanese flags on it. Go above the tower and slightly beside it, then wait a minute to hear a German or Russian commander voice.
Open the room that says "Help" during the third or fourth round to get a weapons supply that will give you the upper hand in a crucial battle. Note: There are four openings that the zombies will break through.
Never open up the stairs; it just results in more zombies.
Find some dead bodies, then run up to them and make sure no one else is around besides your teammates. Get down into laying position and crawl into what appears to be the body of the dead person, so it looks like there are fragments of the body around your HUD. Lower your gun while having it high enough to still see what is coming. This trick will make it harder for people to see you unless they are paying close attention to the ground. The flaws to this trick is that people can sneak up from behind and see you since you can only see in one direction without moving. After a few kills, move to another location because other players will pick up on your trick and grenade or rush you.
Put Bouncing Bettys in your class, then find a dead body and place a Betty in it. No one can shoot at it to defuse it nor see it. This tactic is considered "Japanese" because in the game the Imperial Army booby trap dead bodies.
Go to the room overlooking the garden, then go to the larger window and mantle over. You will be on a very thin ledge. Follow the ledge to the right and on your left is an even thinner wall. Follow the wall to the top of the castle and you will be there.
Play on Nacht Der Untoten in Co-op mode. By the window at the back where a truck can be seen out of, find a corner that is to the right of that window and have one player go there and crouch down. Have the other player jump on top of him, then have the player at the bottom stand up. You will now be inside of each other and are invincible as long as you remain immobile. If a zombie comes in, knife him. Shooting doesn't always work.
Once you reach 750 points, open the door to the right of the mainframe with the carbine in it. When you hear the sound before the dogs arrive, have one person lay down in the corner. Note: This is the corner if you turn left immediately after you enter the room. Have the other person jump on top of him, then have both players crouch down. If done correctly, the dogs will go in the corner of the room to the left of where you are and will remain there. When they are there, shoot them. Note: This doesn't work with zombies.
Death cards can be found in the following locations. Collect a death card to unlock its effect in Co-op mode:
1. Undead Soldier
Effect: Enemies come back from the dead. Location: Close to the beginning of the "Eviction" mission. Its well hidden inside a drop-down location against the wall.
2. Suicide King
Effect: Fire explosive pistol rounds while downed. Locatation: Near the middle of the "Hard Landing" mission. Its in a building on the lower level.
Effect: You can only regenerate your health by getting kills. Locatation: Near the middle of the "Burn em out" mission. Its near the back area of a bunker just before the second mortar position. Its a bit difficult to see as its hiding in the shadows.
4. Body Armor
Effect: Enemies die by headshot only. Locatation: near the middle of the "Ring of Steel" mission. The card is located next to a dead soldier in the exterior section of the asylum. Right next to a wall connected to the asylum.
Effect: Shoot co-op teammates to revive them. Locatation: Close to the beginning-middle of the "Blowtorch & Corkscrew" mission. Its on the left well as you advance to the second bunker. Look for a soldier hanging upside down along the wall.
6. Flak Jacket:
Effect: Enemies take less explosive damage. Location: Near the end of the "Relentless" mission. It doesnt matter which passage you take, as the death card is located after that. Its midway down the hall in a corridor that connects the paths.
Effect: Headshots cause enemies to explode. Location: in the beginning in "Semper Fi". Its in a shack right at the start.
8. Sticks & Stones
Effect: Your weapon arsenal consists of a knife and a bunch of rockets. Location: Near the end of the "Their Land , Their Blood" mission. Its hidden inside the barn. Search the stalls next to a dead soldier and a couple of dead cows.
Effect: Gunfire turns a little more colorful. Location: In the beginning of the "Heart of the Reich" mission. Its located in a closed off subway entrance opposite of your start location.
10. Cold Dead Hands
Effect: Enemies take their weapons with them to the grave. Location: In the beginning of the "Vendetta mission". Its located behind the bar, inside the first building Reznov takes you through.
11. Hard Headed
Effect: Enemies take less bullet damage. Location: Near the end of the mission in "Little Resistance". Its just outside the final building to the right of the entrance.
Effect: Get 3 kills in 5 seconds to unleash Berserker. Location: near the middle of the "Breaking Point" mission. After clearing all 4 mortar pits, look in the small shack located in the south of the area.
Effects: Limited HUD , Friendly Fire = On , Bleed Out time is cut in half. Location: Near the beginning of the "Downfall" mission. Between the staircase and the theater, your soldiers break through a door on your right. Inside, find the last Death Card.
Complete Campaign mode to unlock Zombie mode, a four-player Co-op mode that pits you against endless waves of Nazi zombies. Alternately, get invited to play in a Zombie mode game in Co-op mode and it will then become unlocked permanently on your own game.
There are two concrete bunkers on the Japanese spawn side of the map. Go into the one at the top of the hill (with Japanese Flags on it) in Spectator mode, then go through one of the little windows into the back area of the bunker. Turn around and turn up the volume to hear a strange garbled and quite disturbing voice coming from the wall; a disembodied voice.
At the bottom of the two story tin building, on the Marine's spawn side, is a jail cell with a dead tortured Russian soldier in it. Coming from the door in the cell, you can occasionally hear a Japanese person torturing another soldier.
After the boat crashes, call in an air strike on the corresponding location. Run up to the beach and move to the right to find a small puddle at the right side of the beach. Stand in it briefly, then move towards the middle of the beach to find a smaller puddle. Stand in that puddle briefly, then move towards the far left side of the beach. Stand briefly in the puddle in the barb wire. After a few seconds, the screen will shake and you will hear strange voices before four lion statues rise out of the ground with alien ray guns in their mouths.
If you just stand in the last puddle and not the others, you will still hear the weird voices and get the ray guns.
First, open the help door once you have enough points to buy a Thompson off the wall. Buy it, then make a crawler with a grenade. There are four or five army helmets scattered around the first floor. Shoot all of the army helmets with the Thompson (also use your knife) into the mystery box, then buy a gun and the Ray Gun will appear. Note: This takes some time.
In the first Russian mission, during the part where you must protect your friends below on the streets with the sniper rifle, you must move to another position with some Nazis with dogs . If you manage to kill a Nazi or dog without using the scope on the sniper (no-scope), Dimitri will say "No Scope!!? Good!!" in an enthusiastic voice.
This trick is only possible in Co-op mode on Breaking Point. Get near a box of mortars and have a partner stand on top. There must be enemies around to kill him. When he goes down, walk over to him to see the message "Press and hold X to pick up and prime". Hold X and you will pick up a mortar and see the revival status bar begin to fill. When he is revived, you will put the mortar away as you would the needle.
Go to the path that circles around the woods and the map and continue walking until you see a series of Japanese statues and square rocks. Go to the statue that's lit up and enclosed by other square rocks; it stands out from the others and should be facing you. Get as close to the statue as possible and wait a while to start hearing bells, chimes, or metal tools rattling against each other loudly. Although the sounds are coming from in front of you, nothing is there.
First, have all the teleporters activated and the Pack A Punch machine available for usage. Get a Crawler so you have time to get in position and get the achievement. Go out of the left door from the position you spawn at or the right door if you are facing the Pack A Punch machine. Once you see the fence where the zombies can break in before the next door, slightly look through the gap to the left of the wood to see a circuit breaker in the distance. Take out your upgraded gun and shoot the breaker. This trick only works with guns upgraded in the Pack A Punch machine and by shooting the breaker. Once this is done, a sequence will begin and you will unlock the achievement.
Go to the top sniping post at the very right of the map and have someone stand on the stone stick going upwards toward the wall. Getout on the ledge, then run (do not sprint) toward him, jump, and bayonet him. If done correctly, you will launch up on top of the roof. From there you can travel over the entire roof. Be careful; you can get stuck.
Find the following sniper locations in the corresponding multiplayer maps:
In the middle of the map, there is a 2-story concrete building. Place satchels or bouncing bettys. There is also a large white estate with a ladder and staircase in front of it.
-On the right of the map, go up the stairs to a long hallway. Turn right and go to the end to find a location where you can snipe people down below through the opening, or you can crouch behind the boxes and snipe people trying to get in.
-In the middle of the map, on the second floor (above the bathroom), there is a balcony to snipe from. You can either guard the doorway, snipe people in the courtyard, or snipe someone in the room mentioned above.
There is a small room overlooking the garden and the front staircase. Climb the ladder or go upstairs to get to it. Another spot is a small room that has a clear sight into the room mentioned above. To get to this room, go to the bottom of the map and climb up the staircase. You should be on a wooden porch that connects to the gardens. Just turn left and you will be in the room.
There are two concrete bunkers in this map. Go to the one on the edge of the cliff. You can snipe people as they run by and shoot people trying the get in from behind.
-At the end of the courtyard, go into the shack and turn right. Use part of the wall that is jutting out to hop into the tree.
-There is a shack at the bottom left of the courtyard. Go through and keep going. Turn right and mantle over the wall, then turn right again and you should see boxes that you can climb. Climb on them to have a perfect view of the entire area.
There is a platform with a ladder on the side of the building. To get to this platform, you can either climb the ladder or go up the stairs inside. This spot connects to a ledge inside the building.
There is a bunker/cave in the upper left corner of the map (second row of buildings). This bunker has a clear shot of enemy respawn points and good protection from tanks. Make sure to use bouncing bettys.
On the second floor of the hangar is a small room. Climb up the rubble pile on the side of the building to get to it.
Go to the circular building and look through the stair entrance. There should be a hut with two rectangular windows overlooking the sandy area. Also, there is a tall building on the water with windows overlooking the whole map.
Inside the church tower look through the oval window, and you will see a white building with a small balcony in the distance.
There is a platform/hallway that goes over the middle of the map. To get to it, go behind the trashed locomotives. Climb up the staircase and turn left at the round platform. You should have a good view of the whole roundhouse in the middle of the map.
Towards the top of the map, there is building with two windows that overlooks the whole area.
On "Airfield, head to the first side, which is where you spawn behind the big building then go out to the field. Instead, go inside the building and look around at the pillars and windows, then go upstairs to the left. Look around and you'll notice it is the same building in the Nacht Der Untoten (zombie) mission, except all the entrances are walled up or blocked by an invisible wall.
On multiplayer, select a gun with a bipod attachment. Lay down, deploy the bipod, and press Left Analog-stick Up. The ammo bar will disappear and can now fire as long as desired without reloading or running out of ammo.
Get a machine gun that can be mounted and mount it onto something or just the plain floor. Press Left Analog-stick Up and your ammo bar will disappear, giving you ammunition only when it is mounted.
After dying in an online match in HQ and are watching your teammates fight, try to find someone with a MG42. If you look at the weapon in third person view there will be no clip on the gun. However, in first person view there is a clip on the left side on the gun.
This trick works best in multiplayer mod. You must be on the side with the hospital chair and down yourself in the doorway closest to the door that separates the two sides unless the power is on (not by the Jugger-Nog) for this to work. In other words, no one can revive you. In the next round, crouch in the corner of the cabinet and look at the corner in the back (not the corner by the window), then stand and press [Jump] again. If done correctly, you should not jump. If you jump, crouch again. Make sure your crosshair is on the corner of the cabinet and on the wall. Keep trying until you do not jump. After that happens, turn around and look at the doorway you downed yourself at. All the zombies will go to where you downed yourself. An easy way to do this is in round 1 so you can get used to getting back in this position. After round 5, at the end of each round, make a few crawlers to collect ammo, go to the box, etc. If you have a lot of them, kill some to get more points. Note: Try killing the fast ones to get more time. Make sure no one else is close to you, otherwise the zombies will go after them. If the zombies get them, and are close enough to you, they will then also get you.
This trick requires two players. After a few waves pass, open the doors that lead to the Thompson and go up the stairs that take you to the power switch. Open the door that leads to the teleporter, then go to the right and have one player go to the wall on the left. There is a hole on the floor. Have a player remain as close as possible facing the window and look at the door every once in awhile. Note: You must be squatting down. Have the other player go in the hole and stay close to the wall near the other player. The zombies will go in but they will not get near you. When all the zombies are there, move slightly forward and they will start to approach. Shoot some and move back to keep them away.
