Unlock Bonus Level:
To unlock a bonus level that becomes available on Sonic's map, beat the game and collect all Chaos Emeralds with Amy, Cream, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
Unlock Boss Option in Time Attack:
To unlock the Boss option (Time Attack Mode), beat the game and collect all Chaos Emeralds with three characters.
Unlock Characters:
To unlock the following characters, complete the criteria listed:
* Cream: Finish the Leaf Forest level as Sonic.
* Tails: Finish the Music Plant level as Sonic.
* Knuckles: Finish the Sky Canyon level as Sonic.
* Amy: Beat the game and get all seven Chaos Emeralds with Cream, Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails.
Unlock Sound Test:
To unlock the sound test, beat the game and collect all Chaos Emeralds with two characters.
Unlock Tiny Chao Garden:
To unlock the Tiny Chao Garden, beat the game and collect all Chaos Emeralds (any character).
Reset during gameplay:
Push A + B + Start + Select when you are playing.
Speed Up:
At the beginnig of any non-Boss level, you can get an extra boost of quickness out of the start gate. Hold right just before the counter displays "START!".
Tornado (Tails):
Locate an area where you can drop off. Prior to hitting the ground, keep pushing B. You will twirl your tails and spin like a whirl wind.
Saturn Spin (Sonic):
Acquire one of the containers that house a green or blue barrier. When in midair, push R. You will resemble Saturn.
Somersault attack (Sonic):
To do a somersault move on the Boss, push Up or Down. Sonic will be stretching or ducking.
Rocket Punch (Knuckles):
Acquire one of the containers that endows you with high speed. While you are running, push Left, then push B continuously while holding Left. You will accelerate and do the Rocket Punch.
