Cheat: Bonus Games:
At the level select screen, hold SELECT and press L, L, B, A, R to unlock bonus games.
Unlockable: Hard Mode:
If you get 1000 points in a world a star will appear on the 'Select Game' screen. Once 5 stars are earned it unlocks Hard Mode.
Unlockable: Secret Ending:
If you get 1000 points in a world a star will appear on the 'Select Game' screen. Once 6 stars are earned it unlocks a secret ending.
Unlockable: Six Secret Levels:
Beat the game and unlock 6 new levels.
Hint: Seven Lives:
If you get a world score of 777 you will get 7 lives.
Mini-Games (Bandit):
Hold Select, press L, L, B, A, R during stage selection.
Different Title Screen:
Finish the game 100%; the next time you restart yoshi's island, the game's title screen will show yoshi's island but it will be night in lieu of day.
Drop through ground:
Find any level with lava. Drop in the lava near land and you will fall through the ground.
Underwater Walking:
Locate a place where there is shallow water. Jump high up, then Ground Pound into the water. If you hit it just right, you will not swim in the water, but in lieu walk.
