Unlockable Characters:
The first 4 unlockable characters can already be played in "VS. Mode". But you have to unlock them in "Story Mode".

Eris - Beat "Story Mode" once with either Billy, Mandy, Grim, Or Irwin
Mogar - Beat "Story Mode" once with either Billy, Mandy, Grim, Or Irwin
Nergal - Beat "Story Mode" once with either Billy, Mandy, Grim, Or Irwin
Fred Fredburger - Beat "Story Mode" once with either Billy, Mandy, Grim, Or Irwin
Hoss Delgado - Beat Mission 9 in Tier 1 in "Mission Mode"
Unlockable Horde Characters:
To unlock these characters, you must complete special objectives.
Unlockable: Condition:
Vikings - Beat Story Mode with all characters and destroy every letter in the credits sequence
Nerglings - Beat Story Mode with all characters on any difficulty
Chicken - Beat Story Mode with all characters on any difficulty with 10 hours of gameplay
Collect All Characters:
Complete all tiers and all missions in each tier in mission mode. You will unlock certain characters in certain missions and unlock each character one by one.
P.S.[all the characters unlocked can be played in both story mode and versus mode.]
Unlockable: 1st Set Costumes
You must finish the story mode with any character.
