Burnt costume:
To unlock the Burnt costume, reset your costume and then go to where there is a fire and burn yourself. While you are getting burned, pause the game. You will see a charred character. Turn off your controller by holding the Playstation logo. Then, turn the controller back on when prompted to unlock it.
Glowing skeleton costume:
To unlock the Glowing Skeleton costume, reset your costume and then shock yourself at an electric trap. Pause the game while getting shocked. If done correctly, you should see a skeleton show through your character. Hold the PlayStation Logo to turn off your controller. Then, turn the controller on again when prompted to get a costume with a glowing skeleton.
Costumes:
During your first week of LBP you will be able to download the 2 costumes from the PlayStation store.
Easy Minigames:
In Story mode, start a mini-game. After the entrance is gone, pause the game. Hold down the Playstation Button and select "Turn Off Controller". When the screen says "Press PS button to play!", press the PS button and unpause the game. You will have lost 0 lives and appear on the scoreboard.

Homemaker - Place 10 stickers or decorations in your pod
Incredible Height! - Travel to an incredible height

Look what I made! - A level you published was played by 5 or more people

Party Person - Complete a level online with 3 other players who are on your friends list
