Control ending sequence:
Before "test player" during the ending sequence, hold L2 + L1 + R2 + R1 + square + triangle + circle to control Wayne's LP-9999 VS, and fly to the destroyed Akrid.
Control intermission sequence:
To control the camera angle during an intermission sequence press circle, X, square, triangle, circle, X, square, triangle, circle, X, square, triangle.
Unlockable characters:
Unlock the following characters by completing the corresponding tasks:
Frank - Reach level 90 in online mode. To select Frank in campaign mode, hold Triangle at the mission selection screen. In multiplayer mode, he will appear with the other characters.
Luka - Get all target markers in all missions. To select Luka in campaign mode, hold R1 at the mission selection screen. In multiplayer mode, he will appear with the other characters.
Joe - Complete campaign mode. To select Joe in campaign mode, hold Square at the mission selection screen. In multiplayer mode, he will appear with the other characters.
Megaman - Complete 100 fights in online mode. To select Megaman in campaign mode, hold Square + Triangle at the mission selection screen. In multiplayer mode, he will appear with the other characters.
Unlock extreme difficulty:
Complete the game on either easy, normal, or hard.
Increase anchor distance:
Press X + Square instead of just Square.
Easier slashes:
Hold L1 or R1 to charge it up and release it when close to the target.
Multiplayer taunts:
Hold start and press the indicated button to perform the corresponding taunt in multiplayer mode. The first three taunts are the same for all characters. However the fourth taunt(holding start and pressing left) is different for each character:
Hold Start and press Up - Say "Let's go".
Hold Start and press Right - Say "Oh yeah".
Hold Start and press Down - Hold gun in the air.
Hold start and press left to perform the listed taunt for the corresponding character:
Basic character #1 (pointed ears) - Humping
Basic character #2 (big helmet) - Bow
Basic character #3 - Butt slap
Stranger - Holds out his arm
Soldier - Claps
NEVEC - Stands straight as if in the army
Yuri - Kneels as if praying
