Bonus missions:
To unlock bonus missions, go to the mission mode screen and press up, down, left, down, right, up, square.
Mission mode:
To unlock Mission mode you must beat Story mode on Normal difficulty.
Unlockable difficulties:
Unlock the following difficulties by completing the corresponding tasks:
Hard - Beat the game on normal.
Very Hard - Beat the game on hard.
Master Ninja - Beat the game on very hard.
Ninja Dog - Die 3 times in a row.
Unlockable costumes:
Unlock the following costumes by completing story mode on the corresponding difficulties:
Ashtar Ryu costume - Complete story mode on hard difficulty.
Classic Ryuken costume - Complete story mode on normal difficulty.
Easy money in imperial city infiltration:
There is a guy sitting at the shop near the town gate. Throw Shurikens at him to earn 100 yellow essence each time you hit him. Only hit him nine times. If you hit him 10 times he will die. Leave through the gate and re-enter. Repeat as desired.
Hit Muramasa:
Attack Muraamasa at his store and he will begin dropping yellow essence. Do not overdue it. If you hit him too many times he will fall over and you get game over. Save before attempting this to be safe.
Easy Essence in eighth mission:
At the last save point there is a door that leads to a dead end alleyway. Enemies will constantly respawn on both sides of the door in the alley. Continually leave and re-enter the doorway as you kill the enemies to collect essence.
Infinite life of the Gods and Elixirs glitch:
While playing as Ryu, at the beginning of Chapter 7 pick up the two chests near the save point. They will respawn in other missions giving you almost unlimited Life of the Gods and Elixirs. You must have access to Tairon's Monastery Annex Save Point.
Easy Yellow Orbs in Ch. 18:
In Chapter 18, after reaching the top of the tower save the game. Use the black floating panel next to the save point to refill your life and Ninpo. Go to the top of the ramp. Equip the "Art of the Fire Wheels" spell. The fish will jump and die upon hitting your shield giving Yellow Orbs.
Unlimited Yellow Orbs in Ch. 3:
In Chapter 3, get the key card on the lower level. Go down one of the spiral staircases off the main deck to save the game. Then, go back to the beginning of the game. In the Living Quarters at the end of the hall, use the keycard to enter the door. Kill as many enemies as you can without dying, and make sure to have a few Elixirs of Spiritual Life that you can use. After exiting, save the game and restock on Elexirs at the shop. Repeat as desired.
Unlimited Yellow Orbs in Ch. 12:
In Chapter 12, save the game at the save point near the door that leads to a large statue of a girl. Turn around, take a few steps, and follow the path on the left. Enter the small door and press L2 to display your Karma. Kill all the scorpions and remember exactly how many you killed. It will appear on your Karma display. Exit and then re-enter. This time do not kill all of them, but leave a few alive. Exit and re-enter as many times as you want.
