When your map is zoomed to max, there is a small green number on the map signifying the number of diamond caches in that zone.
Get The Golden AK-47:
In the southwestern area of the first region go north of the safe house island and you'll see a ledge. Go around the ridge to the top of the ledge and you'll see a plane containing a Jackal Tape. Search south of the crashed plane to locate a mine entrance; inside you'll find the Golden AK-47.
