At the beginning of a race you are given the choice to make a wager on the results. Up this bet to the maximum amount and start the race. If you are doing bad, pause it and restart. If you know you'll prevail, cross the finish line and get your winnings.

Get Legend - Acquire Legend status online.
Get King of the Mountain - Finish every Race Challenge in Career Mode.
Acquire On Top of the World Trophy:
Get SV Peak by finishing
all the K.O.T.M. Death Race Challenges; next, teleport to that location
and locate the shack with the quarter-pipe in it. Set up the ramp in an
open area. Push up to this ramp and do a handplant invert.
Get Big Black in Freeskate and Party Play:

Get Training Park - Complete all of all Team Film Challenges.
Get S.V. Dam - Complete all of the Thrasher Mag challenges to drain.
Get S.V. Summit - Complete all of the Death Races to unlock the northernmost spawn point.
Get GvR Plaza - Complete all of the Street Challenges to unlock the etnies GvR Plaza.
Get S.V. Stadium (Mega-Ramp) - Finish all of the Tranny Contests.
Get Monster Clubhouse - Finish the Raising Coin Demo and purchase for $200,000.
